My name is Peace Odu, and I am the founder of Livingspring Wellbeing. Ever since I was young, I have had a deep fascination and interest in science and living systems. Shortly after completing my MSc in Instrumental Analytical Sciences from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, UK, I gave birth to my daughter. Up until the age of 15 months, she was a good-natured and sweet child on track with her developmental milestones.

Around this time, her development slowed, she had difficulty sleeping at night, and she started to become withdrawn. This led to various tests that eventually resulted in a diagnosis of autism. This sent me into a long journey of research and study into how diet affects our health and well-being. From there, Livingspring Wellbeing was born.

My daughter’s autism diagnosis was one of the most difficult moments of my life. Doctors only left us with more questions, making it clear that they had no medical solutions for her. Something told me that this wasn’t the whole truth. I took it upon myself to find the answers.

I began researching the healing power of food, making significant changes to her diet along the way. I eliminated all processed foods, replacing them with nutrient-dense whole-food options. I consulted practitioners, naturopaths, nutritional therapists, and functional medicine practitioners who taught me the power of nutritional supplementation in restoring biochemical imbalances and reducing inflammation. Soon after, I pursued an education in naturopathic nutrition at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), which increased my understanding of how the body functions.

After several years of research and applying natural remedies, my daughter’s well-being is continuously improving.
Today, I apply the teachings from this eye-opening journey to each of my clients as I help them address the root causes of their conditions with nutritional therapy. Through ongoing education, I have expanded my knowledge of natural health remedies and how they work with the body to bring it back to balance. My mission is to work with you at whatever stage you are in your health journey. Together, we will find a way through.
