CONSULTATIONS

What to Expect from a Nutritional
Therapy Consultation

If you are unsure whether a Nutritional Therapy consultation will benefit you, you may schedule a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and concerns in greater detail.

Please use the contact form to provide your phone number and relevant information. If you decide to book a consultation, you will be sent a detailed health questionnaire with a food diary to fill out.

The forms can be completed electronically or handwritten and must be returned at least two working days before your appointment.

Consultations can take place face to face in Aberdeen or online via zoom.

How does it work?

If you’re ready to get some answers around your health, book your free 15-minute consultation below! If you’re interested, but want to learn more about our consultation process, continue onto the next tab.

An initial consultation is approximately 60 minutes.

The duration will depend on the complexity of your health concerns. We will address additional questions about your symptoms based on the information provided in your questionnaire. You will receive dietary and lifestyle recommendations tailored to your specific health concerns, as well as factsheets and recipes to help you make these changes. I will recommend any additional tests and explain the details to you. Additional tests will only be scheduled with your consent.

I will send the recommendations to you electronically within three working days. I offer a free 15-minute telephone chat or email to answer any questions or queries you may have about your therapeutic plan. Any additional phone call and email will be billed as a phone/email consultation.

This consultation is held 4-6 weeks after the initial meeting, and typically lasts 30 to 60 minutes.

This includes a discussion about the progress made since your initial consultation and any necessary changes to the recommendations based on new information. I will explain any additional test results and what they tell us about your health. I then tailor your plan to suit these new results if needed.

There may be additional follow-up visits which are generally scheduled every 4-6 weeks after the first follow-up to evaluate your progress and make any adjustments in your program. Follow-up frequency varies with each case and may depend on the purpose of the consultation, goals, readiness to change, and the support system you have in place, as well as other factors.
